However, now with the launch of Windows Phone 7 HTC is taking one step further as they will collaborate with Microsoft to launch their five new smartphones that will be based on Windows 7 technology. The five smartphones are named as HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Pro and HTC HD7. All these smartphones will have Windows 7 platform and will have unique body designs to make them look stand apart from the rest of the lot.

Peter Chou, CEO of HTC said that Windows 7 is an entirely fresh experience for all mobile manufacturers as well as smartphone users and therefore HTC wants to provide its users with the best technology available in the market. HTC is really excited about launching these Windows 7 technology-based smartphones in the market. HTC also looks at this collaboration as an opportunity for customers to experience something better that they have never experienced before because customers can enjoy various Microsoft services like Xbox LIVE and Zune on it which are quite popular. He also stated that these smartphones will have a combination of HTC’s commitments along with the value of Microsoft and therefore it will set a new benchmark for HTC.

Andy Lees, President of the Mobile Communications at Microsoft said that they are equally excited to work with HTC on these five smartphones. He stated that Windows 7 has been carefully designed to provide maximum options to the customers to make their mobile experience even better. The HTC 7 Surround and HTC 7 Mozart will be more inclined towards people who enjoy their music and movies because it will have SRS WOW HD and Dolby external speaker. HTC 7 Trophy is for users who would like to carry their Xbox games along with them at all times. HTC 7 Pro has been designed for maximum business efficiency and it also has a full QWERTY keypad for better typing. HTC HD7 has a large 4.3 inch screen for people who would like to enjoy their movies in grand style.
